Service Levels
In order to send and / or receive messages through HSL's systems a service level must be selected by the customer through which access to HSL's systems is provided. Each service level has a different level of support, available links (Internet, ISDN, leased line), and message throughput. Options are available for each service level regarding interface protocol (SMPP, SMTP, HTTP, Web Services (SOAP / XML)) or HSL Solutions (AlertBroadcast, EmailSMS, WebSMS). All services and solutions are available on each service level.
New customers can benefit from our Promotional offer where for a minimum period of 12 months HSL will provide their Advanced Services account with no setup or monthly service charges. Further details can be found in the Promotional Pricing section.
Pricing is based on the account service level and is regardless of interface option selected. The table below shows each service level, the associated costs, the maximum number of SMS guaranteed under the service level agreement and the support level provided. Account Service Level
Please note that you may select either a Prepay or Standard Account. If you wish to open a Standard Account then this will be subject to satisfactory credit checks. Payment for both accounts can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit card.
