Sending a message to a mobile phone using EmailSMS is similar to sending an email to a regular email address. To address the message to a mobile telephone, the telephone number would be included in the email address to which the message is sent. The default email address that customers of HSL are able to use is mobileno @gms.haysystems.com where ‘mobileno’ is the mobile telephone number in international format, e.g. 447712345678.
The following are some of the features of this solution:
- Email messages can be sent to a mobile phone as SMS.
- Customise for own organisation: mobileno@sms.mycorp.com
- Delivery confirmation.
- Mobile user can reply back to a message they receive. Email user receives reply in their email inbox.
- Mobile user can send a message at any time to the email user of the system that will be received in their email inbox.
- Supports many character sets.
