HSL Website - Enhanced Features
HSL are pleased to announce the addition of the following enhanced features to the recently revamped HSL website. These features include: Online Quote - receive an instant quote with breakdown of the costs involved. Search Facility - easily locate information on our website. Network Lookup Facility
HSL will soon be launching a new Network Lookup Facility. This will enable clients to receive detailed information regarding a mobile number. The service will provide the following information regarding the number: Network to which the subscriber of the mobile number belongs. Network to which the mobile number prefix belongs. Decomposed mobile number (split into country, network prefix and subscriber number). Current location - country only. Active subscriber (i.e. number in network HLR). Active device (i.e. switched on / off).

Virtual SIM Hosting Solution
Looking for a cost effective inbound solution for your end users?
If so, then HSL have the perfect solution... Virtual SIM (VSIM) Hosting! Our Virtual SIM Hosting solution is available to Advanced Services clients and is ideal for clients to provide their customers with a local number to send messages to. The solution allows for a throughput of around 20-50 SMS per second whilst the SIM is virtually hosted on our network. To use the service, clients would send us the SIM they wish us to host. The SIM should be from a network which is within our coverage, and additionally, the network sending the SMS to the SIM number must also be within coverage. The published coverage is an indication of coverage for contract SIMs as opposed to pre-pay SIMs and clients should ensure that the SIM is capable of roaming on a UK network. HSL's WebSMS Solution - Extra Features added!
Based on our valued client feedback relating to the new WebSMS solution, HSL can now confirm the additional features which have been added to WebSMS. Message Templates - create a custom template which can be used when sending the same message to a number of contacts or a distribution list. Templates can be stored and amended in WebSMS. User Settings - update your user details and set your own user password. Inbox Refresh - set your inbox to automatically refresh thus allowing you to view up to date inbound message details. Different timing options are available. Time Zone - choose your preferred time zone in which to view your WebSMS message details. Timeout Period - set your timeout period so that WebSMS will automatically log you out after the set time of inactivity.
